As a Full Stack Developer (Python & Angular) at Emergn you will work across both the Angular frontend and Python backend, building high-quality features alongside a cross-functional delivery team.

We want you to:

  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to build high-quality software.
  • Develop, test, and deploy features that meet defined acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in task planning, estimation, and prioritisation.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Engage in pair programming to tackle complex problems.
  • Contribute to continuous learning and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Support incident response efforts in line with the Incident Response Policy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial experience in either Angular or Python, with 1-2+ years of commercial experience in the other technology.
  • Experience building modern web applications, including designing and building REST APIs.
  • Good, up-to-date knowledge of the latest Angular versions.
  • Fluent in Git, with experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfortable working on the command line.A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, balancing technical considerations against customer demands for rapid feature delivery.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of tasks, using initiative to inform decisions, and asking for help when needed.

You might also have:
  • Experience with modern Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with tools like NgRx, RxJS, or Ionic.

Location requirement:
  • This position is remote-based in Portugal.
