Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst you ensure that the request meets the need and you assess whether the datasets are suitable for the intended purpose. You translate data requests from either model teams, regulators or monitoring and backtesting teams directly into code or adequately instruct developers on how to do this. Creating elaborate SQL scripts targeting large amounts of historical data in a complex landscape with a wide variety of sources, sometimes decommissioned or poorly documented.

Your background:

• A master's degree in economics, finance or quantitative field (mathematics, physics or similar);
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
• A background in the banking/financial sector;
• insight into credit risk modelling; GIFT
• Minimum of 2 years experience writing database queries and merging, cleaning and processing data;
• A thorough command of SQL, experience with Python is also welcome;
• Being able to present solutions and clearly document all steps, so that datasets are not only usable, but also sustainable;
• For senior level: Ability to lead small teams to achieve agreed goals together.

The offer:

• Salary is between 4500-6500 euros per month based on 36 hours.
