<p>This dispatch position works in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and requires excellent customer service skills, sound judgment, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is a remote position.</p>

<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>

<p><strong>Essential duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position is Monday – Friday 8am-5pm <strong>Mountain Standard Time</strong></li>
<li>Communicate with customers, quote rates, and provide up to date information regarding loads.</li>
<li>Coordinate loading and unloading arrangements with drivers and customers.</li>
<li>Input orders efficiently and accurately – attention to detail is crucial.</li>
<li>Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers</li>
<li>Vet new carrier partners; Review FMCSA ratings, confirm insurance</li>
<li>Monitor driver progress from pick up to delivery</li>
<li>Dispatch freight daily by phone and operating systems</li>
<li>Willing to work weekends as needed (currently this is very rare)</li>
</ul>

<li>Salary – DOE</li>
