Consensys is a blockchain software company founded in 2014 by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin. The company builds the consumer platform, developer and enterprise infrastructure, and protocol software powering the transition to decentralized finance. Its products include MetaMask, a self-custodial finance platform; Infura, API infrastructure for Ethereum and other blockchain networks; and Linea, an Ethereum-equivalent Layer 2 network. Consensys serves consumers, third-party application builders, and institutions across the Ethereum ecosystem. Its tools let users send, trade, earn, and pay through a single interface, and let developers read and write to supported chains without operating their own nodes. A remote-first team of over 700 people contributes to every major Ethereum protocol upgrade.
